A Friend in Need

Do you know someone young, old, or in between who feels lonely? Check out the St. John’s Village volunteer postings on JustServe.org. There is a senior who would love to build a friendship and have you pray with them or attend Mass on Mondays with them. Volunteering can be an amazing two-way blessing. Look for details or sign up on JustServe.org or on the JustServe app.

Help for Shelter Animals

The Yolo County Animal Shelter is in need of towels and small blankets, as well as detergent for washing the laundry. You may bring these items to the Social Hall or the back hallway of the church, where there will be designated boxes in which to put the items.

See's Candy for Sale

The St. John’s Village Lifesavers group sells See’s candy at the Village gift shop. They also sell greeting cards, stuffed animals, jewelry, handmade goods, puzzle/word-find books, jam, honey, and many other items. In addition, many holiday items will be available for sale. Gift shop hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If you need candy at the last minute, call Marilyn Mitchell at (530) 908-1676.
