There are three paths to membership for teenagers and adults at St. John's UCC:
New Member/Inquirer
New Member and Inquirer classes are for adults who have not previously been a member of a Christian Church. If an adult has not yet been baptized, he or she will be baptized as a part of joining St. John's. More info on joining St. John's is available here.
Confirmation/Baptism
Confirmation is for teenagers (ages 13-17) who believe that they might be ready to join the church, and claim the Christian faith for themselves. If a teenager has not yet been baptized, he or she will be baptized as a part of joining St. John's.
Transfer Membership
Transfer of Membership is for those who are currently members of another congregation, but would like to become members of St. John's. This can be done either by letter of transfer, or re-affirmation of faith.
