St. John's CommUniversity
Part of our self-understanding as a church of Jesus Christ is to live for the sake of others--not only to serve ourselves, but our neighbors as well. In that spirit, St. John's periodically hosts classes aimed to serve needs of the greater community. These may include, but are not limited to public speaking, music, computer literacy, interview coaching, and others. All are welcome without restriction, and classes are usually accompanied by a potluck dinner. See below for upcoming classes, times, and locations. Hope to see you soon at CommUniversity!

Race & Racism 101 | Wednesdays, 7/29 & 8/5
In the wake of such tragedies as the shooting at Mother Emmanuel Church in Charleston, SC, and a string of high profile cases of police brutality against African American men, the congregation of St. John's UCC is moved to take a harder look at race and racism in America, in the hopes of educating ourselves, and better understanding the plight of our neighbors.
